We are thrilled to announce that the Pachakuna Project's "Perú Sagrado Ancestral" exhibition was showcased at the Museo Histórico Regional de Cusco from July 1 to 30, 2024. Hosted in the historic Casa del Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, located in Plaza Regocijo, Cusco, Peru, this exhibition was a significant milestone in our mission to ignite a passion in young generations for the rich cultures, histories, lands, and people of ancient Peru.
The "Perú Sagrado Ancestral" exhibition offered an interactive experience, allowing visitors to engage deeply with Peru's ancestral heritage. Attendees had the opportunity to immerse themselves in various activities, including coloring, assembling puzzles, and creating their own art, all inspired by the profound legacy of ancient Peru. This hands-on approach not only educated but also empowered participants to express their creativity while connecting with the nation's history.
A highlight of the exhibition was the display of our free coloring books, which feature intricate illustrations depicting various aspects of ancient Peruvian culture. Visitors, especially children, were encouraged to bring these illustrations to life with their own colors, fostering a personal connection to the stories and traditions of the past. These coloring books are part of our broader initiative to provide 100% free resources, including puzzle kits, LEGO builds, AI-generated art, and music videos, all aimed at making the rich tapestry of Peru's history accessible to all.
The venue itself, the Casa del Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, added a layer of historical significance to the exhibition. As the former residence of the renowned mestizo chronicler Garcilaso de la Vega, the museum provided a fitting backdrop for an exhibition dedicated to celebrating and preserving Peru's ancestral heritage.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who visited the exhibition and participated in the activities. Your enthusiasm and engagement are what drive the Pachakuna Project forward. For those who couldn't attend, we invite you to explore our free resources available on our website and join us in this journey of discovery and creativity.
Together, let's continue to honor and celebrate the sacred ancestral heritage of Peru.
